John Meurer is the founder and President of Advocate Staffing. He has taken his 10 years of staffing and 8 years of higher education experience and created a staffing agency that focuses on the Higher Education industry. John is committed to partnering with each college and university to ensure their experience with our organization exceeds their expectations.

John most recently was Vice President of Admissions and Executive Committee member for RMCAD, a for-profit regionally accredited college in Denver CO, that offered bachelor degrees on-campus and online. Prior to RMCAD, he was Vice President of Admissions at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. He was instrumental in growing both university's online and on-campus enrollments.

During his tenure at Academy of Art University his team grew Undergraduate and Graduate enrollments from 5800 students to over 15,800. At the San Francisco campus he lead the following teams: Domestic Undergraduate Admissions (On-Campus and Online), Domestic Graduate Admissions (On-Campus and Online), International Undergraduate Admissions (Online), International Graduate Admissions (Online), Online Student Services, Early Admissions, Outbound Call Center, and Campus Tours.

In 2007, John opened a call center office for Academy of Art University in Denver Colorado. He grew the Denver office from a 7 person team to over 90 employees in two years. John was the executive responsible for revenue generation, strategy, and operations of the Denver location. The Denver office had the following departments: On-campus Admissions, Online Admissions, International Online Admissions, Financial Aid, Inbound Phone Room, Alumni, Online Student Services, On-Campus Student Services, Early Admissions, and Accounts Receivable.

John's 10 years of staffing and recruiting experience include positions at Bechtel Corporation, Sprint and TEKsytems (Maxim Group).

John spent over 7 years with TEKsystems, a subsidiary of Allegis Group, the largest privately held technical staffing organization in the United States. His tenure included serving as Regional Sales Manager, where he was responsible for working with the Directors of Branch Operations at 22 offices in the western region to improve recruiting processes and increase sales revenue with a focus on key national accounts. Revenue in the region was $200 million.
